Since 1984 Wasafiri has worked hard to discover support and promote the very best writers in the world, creating print and online platforms for new and exciting international voices, and new and exciting international conversations.
Wasafiri is a not-for-profit literary organisation and registered charity (charity number: 1059778). On top of our sales, subscriptions, and funding, we need to raise a further £10,000 annually to keep developing our work, broadening our reach, and growing the organisation to allow anyone, anywhere, access to the best new writing.
Donations help support Wasafiri's subsidised ticketing for events and subsidised entry fees for the Queen Mary Wasafiri New Writing Prize, our free-to-access online content, the development of new projects, and the expansion of existing ones, such as our annual Writer-in-Residence programme.
