Celebrate Wasafiri 116: Shorelines – South East Asia and the Littoral in Seattle
Wasafiri is delighted to present this celebration of Wasafiri 116 Shorelines: South East Asia and the Littoral taking place on March 16 2024, at mam's books in Seattle, USA.
Our winter 2023 special issue focuses on a range of creative, critical, and artistic work from Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Myanmar and their diasporas, providing ‘place-based testimonies and glimpses into the complex experiences of existing on the shoreline’.
This hybrid launch is presented by co-guest editors Nazry Bahrawi and Joanne Leow and the panellists include scholars, writers, translators and artists: Adrian Alarilla, Khairani Barokka, Shirley Camia, Jasmine Gui, Nuraliah Norasid, Reuven Pinnata, and Tiffany Tsao.
