José Buera

José Buera is a Caribbean and Latinx poet from the Dominican Republic. His poetry has appeared in the Berkeley Poetry Review, Konch, Magma, Wet Grain, and elsewhere. He won the 2024 Happiful Poetry Prize, placed third on the Plaza Poetry Prize and is part of the London Library Emerging Writers Programme 24/25.
