Rolando Travieso

Rolando is a Doctoral researcher at Birkbeck College, University of London. His interdisciplinary project explores the ways in which speculative fiction intervenes in contemporary debates linking food security and ecological collapse. Rolando also writes creative fiction in his free time and focuses on themes directly connected to his home country of Cuba, such as displacement and the fragmentation of childhood memories.
