Zaynab Iliyasu Bobi

Zaynab Iliyasu Bobi, a Cave Canem Fellow ‘2025, is a poet, multidisciplinary artist, and medical laboratory scientist from Bobi, Nigeria. She is the author of the chapbooks Cadaver of Red Roses (2024), which won the 2024 Derricotte/Eady Chapbook Prize, and Uncensored Snapshots (2025).

Zaynab is a Literary Arts MFA candidate at Brown University, and her debut full-length, which won the 2025 Futurepoems Other Future Award, is forthcoming in 2027. Instagram @zaynab_iliyasu_bobi.
