Wasafiri 98: Queer Worlds/Global Queer
Guest Edited by Dean Atta and Andrew van der Vlies, Wasafiri 98: Queer Worlds/Global Queer explores critical, creative, performative, and self-reflective ideas around Queer Studies. As Atta and van der Vlies say in the editorial: '[j]ust as there can, by definition, be no single global queer experience, so there are more queer worlds that can be imagined'.
This issue aims to imagine just some of those worlds, with writing from Mary Jean Chan, Sara Saab, and Christopher Gonzalez, interviews with Artemisa Téllez and Rosamond S. King, and articles covering the Indian Novel and the Arab Spring.
