Reem Abbas

Reem Abbas is a poet and literary critic whose work has appeared in PNR, PBRUM, ArabLit Quarterly, Wasafiri, and in a special issue of the philosophy journal, Crisis and Critique. Her work was shortlisted for the White Review Poet’s Prize, and she was an UNDERTOW polylingual poet at the PTC.

This piece was shortlisted for the 2025 Queen Mary Wasafiri New Writing Prize.
