Saleem Haddad

Saleem Haddad is the author of the novel Guapa (2016), which won both a Stonewall Honour and the Polari Prize and has been translated into eight languages, and Floodlines (2026), which was listed by The New Yorker as one of the best books of 2026 so far. He also writes short stories, essays, and for film and television. His directorial debut, Marco (2019) was nominated for the Iris Prize for ‘Best British Short Film’. His writing has been supported by institutions such as Yaddo and the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin.
