Wasafiri 124: Presencia y Resistencia — British Latinx Writing & Art
Our winter special issue, guest co-edited by Leo Boix and Karina Lickorish Quinn, critically explores the vibrancy and creativity of the British Latin American and Latinx communities which have been unjustly marginalised — both within Britain and beyond.
This issue employs literary and visual arts to celebrate and commemorate cultural preservation, facilitating negotiations that transcend borders, affirming identity in response to invisibility, and advocating for activism and resistance against political and societal violence.
